We are developing a new release for the SafeRefactor plugin. Try our last command-line version of SafeRefactor to evaluate whether a transformations changes program behavior: https://bitbucket.org/gustavoasoares/saferefactor/

Instructions: move the file to the plugin folder of Eclipse

How to install the plugin using Eclipse update site

Before you can install the SafeRefactor plugin you must have a working version of Eclipse.

  1. Select: Help -> Software Updates



  2. Open the tab Available Software
  3. If there is an update site for SafeRefactor, jump to step 5, otherwise select Add Site...



  4. Type the URL of the update site: http://www.dsc.ufcg.edu.br/~spg/saferefactor/update and click on the OK button.



  5. Select the SafeRefactor Update and click on the button Install...



  6. Click on the Next button.
  7. You have to accept the license. If you do, select I accept the terms of the license agreement and click on the Finish button.
  8. When the installation is finished, Eclipse recommends to restart the application. Click on the Yes button.
