Franklin Ramalho holds a PhD degree in Computer Science at Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE)in 2007. During his PhD, he worked at Laboratoire d´Informatique de Paris VI (LIP6) at Université Pierre et Marie Curie, France. Currently, he is professor in Computer Science at UFCG (UFCG), where he coordinates the SPLab (Software Practices Laboratory). His research focuses on Model Driven Development, where he has a large experience, mainly on Model-Driven Architecture, MOF, UML and OCL specifications. He advises PhD, Masters, and undergraduate computer science students and participates of several research projects funded by CNPq, CAPES, MEC and FAPESQ/PB.
